Situated in a historic building that used to be a pub, Kiss Kiss celebrates real Italian food with passion. The menu features classic Italian favourites from pasta and pizza to escalope Milanese and grilled baby chicken as well as more unusual dishes and regularly changing specials. The zucchini are as good as you’ll find anywhere. Pizzas are made freshly to order and the indulgent desserts such as tiramisu and white chocolate pannacotta are all made in house.

The interior is bright and spacious, decked out with a blue and yellow colour palette that reflects Italian seaside resorts towns in summer. There are a couple of large round tables with comfortable banquette seating and a big conservatory at the back that is available for private hire. There is also a large terrace for al fresco dining on sunny days.

This is a great value restaurant with a buzzy vibe and warm, attentive service.

Just had a lovely spur-of-the-moment meal at Kiss Kiss.
Starter of garlic bread with cheese was an enormous garlic and mozzarella pizza. Hot, crispy and smothered in garlic and cheese. Yum.
The tagliatelle carbonara was glossy with egg and full of bacon. A good sized portion too.
The Veal Milanese (with bolognese sauce rather than pomodoro) was excellent. The veal wasn’t too thin and it was cooked to perfection with a tasty crunchy coating of breadcrumb. As for the bolognese sauce, it was one of the nicest I’ve eaten out.
The tagliatelle and spaghetti were both cooked well too. Just the right level of al dente.
    Service was excellent too.
    We will definitely return.
