Zala occupies a bright, airy, high-ceilinged unit in the heart of KERB Camden Market. Part of its charm is the alfresco takeaway bar and pizza oven.
The exciting menu kicks off with a complimentary (yes, you read that right!) selection of regularly changing meze. Mains include a standout skewer of rib eye marinated in silan (date syrup) and olive oil, plus Jerusalem chicken and slow roasted lamb shoulder. Pita filled with grilled beef or prawn & roast cauliflower plus other combinations is great for takeout and the Levantine pizzas are light as a feather thanks to a special Turkish dough base and have toppings such as beef & lamb matbucha and prawns & roasted veg.
