Parlour is neither pub nor restaurant – according to owner Jesse Dunford-Wood, it is an ‘all-day and late-night serving parlour ‘. As well as a great full English breakfast, Parlour offers affordable seasonal menus all day every day, with always a few old favourites kept on the menu. Sunday lunches are feast-like. For something rather special, try the Chef’s Table – a multi-course spectacle with a sensational finale (no spoilers here), presided over by Jesse himself who brings his unique sense of creative flair and humour to this gastronomic experience.
The dinner menu features such tasty titbits as chestnut hummus with rosemary pitta bread and duck liver profiteroles with blood orange & pistachio, moving on to mains including chicken Kyiv, cow pie and paper baked pollock with morels, pink firs & wild garlic semolina cake.
Desserts are particularly special – and an extensive wine and beer list guarantees you’ll find something equally memorable to wash it all down with.
Closed on Mondays.
