Brothers Ben and Ed Robson and good friend Adam have been working hard to give some much needed love to The Clifton. The once adored pub in the beautiful backstreets of St John’s Wood has recently reopened after a refurb which has given it a new lease of life.

The Clifton was built in 1846. It is reported that Edward VII conducted his affair with the actress Lillie Langtry in the rooms above the premises after they met at a party. As royalty was not permitted to frequent public houses, the king had the name changed to The Clifton Hotel.

Ben, Ed and Adam have had the enjoyable task of sampling, tasting and playing with food and drink putting the menus together. The menus have drawn direct inspiration from their love of food, focusing on fresh, seasonal and sustainable produce.
